So, we have James Foster and his wife on vacation as he looks for inspiration for his second book. While on vacation he appears to hit someone with his car. Does the person live or die? It doesn’t matter, because on the island, the punishment for any crime is death. From there everything seems to spiral into madness for James.

Sold. I don’t need to see another trailer or any exclusive footage. This trailer did everything it needed to draw me in and hook me.

Alexander Skarsgård and Mia Goth are enough to grab my attention. Skarsgård can turn up the intensity to a point that is borderline unsettling and Mia Goth has just been on fire since the release of both X and Pearl. Throw in that it’s written and directed by Brandon Cronenberg, and I am asking Neon to take my money right now.

If you’ve seen 2020’s Possessor, you know that Brandon takes after his father. Infinity Pool looks to continue that trend of imaginative, thought-provoking, body horror and I am here for it.

According to IMDb, Infinity Pool is currently in post-production and slated for a January 2023 release.
