Title: The Requin

Runtime: 1 hour 29 minutes

Director: Le-Van Kiet

My expectations going into The Requin were pretty low to begin with, but yikes.
With an estimated budget of $8.5 million, we can only assume that $8.49 million of that was given to Alicia Silverstone. A trifecta of awful CGI, an atrocious script, and acting that was almost funny it was so bad make the 89 minute run time feel like its 3 hours.

There aren’t a whole lot of trivia or ”fun facts” out there on IMDB about this one just yet. But I did see that this was filmed at Universal Studios in Orlando as well as at Full Sail University in Orlando. This actually helps explain a lot about the quality of what we received.
Don’t go out of your way to see this one. You’d be better off doing a Sharknado marathon. It would at least be something you could laugh at, even if its unintentional laughter. But if you happen to find it streaming somewhere, have literally nothing else you could possibly watch, and can fix yourself a stiff drink, maybe consider giving it a watch.
