Quick Thoughts: Boris Karloff: The Man Behind the Monster (2021)

Posted on January 31, 2022January 31, 2022 by scenethatreviews

Title: Boris Karloff: The Man Behind the Monster

Runtime: 1hr 39min

Director: Thomas Hamilton

Watched via: Shudder

Quite an enjoyable watch even if you aren’t very familiar with Boris Karloff. We’re given a high-level overview at Karloff’s career before and after Frankenstein as well as his personal life. Despite not getting super deep on any one topic, the group of people who came together to discuss his life/career keep you engaged throughout. Loved seeing Guillermo del Toro absolutely gush over Boris Karloff.

Score: 3.5/5
