Quick Thoughts: The Feast (2021)

Posted on January 16, 2022January 16, 2022 by scenethatreviews

The Feast (2021)

Runtime: 1hr 33min
Director: Lee Haven Jones

Watched via: $6.99 iTunes rental

Look no further, this is the slow burner you didn’t know you were looking for. In his feature length directorial debut, Lee Haven Jones takes us on a wild ride. The score and imagery do the heavy lifting and set an uncomfortably tense atmosphere that is present for all 93 minutes. Stay with this one, it’s a slow burn but it gives us a payoff that sticks the landing. I will definitely be looking for what Lee Haven Jones has in store for us next. 4/5
